Samsung is very much one of the most proactive camera brands in recent years and its range of cameras reflects this. At the budget end of the range, the S860 provides a number of useful features around an 8.1 million pixel platform. The trendily designed camera comes in a variety of colours and is well made. Its 3x optical zoom benefits from Digital Image Stabilisation to control the shakes. The camera also offers face detection and a self-portrait mode. One very useful feature is the built in photo help guide that explains some basic terms.
